The Kamal Theater building in Kazan
The Kamal Theater building is Kazan's newest architectural landmark. It is a multifunctional cultural and social center, the architectural concept of which was developed by an international consortium led by the Moscow bureau Wowhaus and Oleg Shapiro, and the interiors with a modern interpretation of national patterns were created by the People's Artist of Tatarstan Naila Kumysnikova. The engineering and construction partner for the production of art panels in interiors was the Ideal House company from Tatarstan, which developed a unique engineering solution.
The intricate three-dimensional composition, executed by Ideal House, consists of 15 petal walls with a total area of 3,600 square meters. It is based on 2,600 shaped panels weighing more than 50 tons, decorated with 18,500 three—dimensional metal elements. Over 31 tons of decorative stainless steel were used for their manufacture, and the titanium nitride coating was applied in 780 vacuum-arc cycles. Dynamic illumination of the panel is provided by 120 thousand LED modules.
High-precision equipment and innovative technologies of Ideal House allowed us to assemble this engineering "puzzle" into a grandiose canvas, and a high production culture and quality control helped to implement the project in the shortest possible time - 4 months.
